A space to pause, reflect and create positive change
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, trauma, stress, or finding yourself caught in patterns that no longer serve you. Whatever you're facing, therapy can provide the opportunity to pause, reflect and create positive change.
At Together In Mind Psychotherapy, I offer personalised therapy using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring our work to your individual needs, goals and pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about starting therapy, sessions and what to expect.
Getting Started
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals and any concerns you may have. There is no pressure to share everything at once — sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Therapy can be beneficial for anyone seeking support or help managing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, or life transitions. If you're wondering whether therapy could help, a consultation can be a good place to start.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, work-related stress and emotional concerns.
Getting started is simple. You can contact Sonia through the website's enquiry form, by email, or by phone to arrange an initial consultation. This first free 15-minute conversation gives you an opportunity to discuss your needs, ask questions, and decide whether therapy feels like the right next step for you.
During Therapy
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and circumstances. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy focused on a specific issue, while others choose longer-term support for deeper lasting change and ongoing challenges.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, although the frequency can be adjusted based on your needs, goals and availability.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I work collaboratively with clients to develop strategies, increase self-awareness and support meaningful, long-lasting change.
